Island Reggae

Reggae band at local diner down the street from our house -- on Sunday afternoon.

Journee and I went with friends to a Jammin Hawaiians concert Saturday evening at the Waikiki Shell. There were about 8,000 people there and we had a great time.  Great music, great friends, great food equals great fun. The Waikiki Shell is an outdoor concert hall and my parents saw Jimmy Buffet there three years ago. The concert lasted a few hours and we saw bands like Fiji, J Boog, Laga Savea, Big Every Time, Lukie D, O-Shen, Kekoa, Rebel Soldierz and more.  It was such an awesome concert and I'm so glad I went.

Check out the following Web site for a reporter's pics from the concert.

Then, as if Saturday's bands weren't enough we stopped at the local diner by our house for a reggae-fest on Sunday.

It's hard to believe I love country music and reggae music both and they are both so completely different.
