Just in case you're wondering about Hurricane Flossie here's what she is looking like right now. For new updates check out www.noaa.gov
Below are maps of the Hawaiian islands and one of Oahu. I marked where we live with a red arrow. You should be able to see on the hurricane map that we should be okay except for some high winds and rain storms (not much different than Oklahoma during tornado season).

Okay, let me just remind you that you are out there in the middle of an ocean. High winds....high water...no place to run and no place to hide. I hate to be the bearer of gloom and doom but what are friends for.... now get the heck out of there... lol
I am sure that you have taken all the precautions and have a hurricane survival kit ready and in your closet. Right? If you don't then please don't tell me...
